MelMel & Evan were talking about 90's rap songs, and Beastie Boys "Sabotage" was on the list. Evan had never heard of it, so Mel played it on the air. She loves it, but he said it makes him want to physically hurt someone. What about you? Did you love this song or hate it?

MelRandom question; If you bring, say, a bottle of wine to a party and that bottle of wine never gets opened at said party, are you allowed to take it back home? After all it's YOUR bottle of wine and this wasn't some kind of gift-giving occasion, so is it still yours, or is it implied that it's a "finder's fee" for the person who hosted the party and let you hang out in their house? What do you think?

                                    11/4/2014

                                    • kenI think it's customary to leave it as an appreciation to the host. I mean after all, you get to go home to your nice clean house and they have to deal with the aftermath of the party! That said... I have taken unopened beer back home with me! :)11/4/2014

                                    • Mark BoneYeah, Party Foul if you take it home. Niow if you can sneak it back out, that's a whole different boogie. That's why I don't take Jager to a party...

MelLaw enforcement team helps keep kids safe this Halloween
This year, the Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office and the Idaho Department of Correction District 2 Probation and Parole Office’s Sex Offender Unit has collaborated to conduct compliance checks on sex offenders on Halloween night. Probation and Parole Officers from IDOC and deputies Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting home visits on sex offenders in Nez Perce County during the hours of 5:00 p.m. on 10/31/14 until 5:00 a.m. on 11/1/14. The compliance checks are only for sex offenders who are currently on probation or parole with IDOC and they have been advised that they must adhere to the following rules:
                                    1. NO FRONT HOUSE LIGHTS OR PORCH LIGHTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE ON DURING THIS TIME.
                                    2. NO HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS ALLOWED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE RESIDENCE TO INCLUDE PUMPKINS.
                                    3. NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO ANSWER THE DOOR OR PASS CANDY OUT TO TRICK OR TREATERS.
                                    4. NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO SIT ON THE FRONT PORCH OR STAIRS OF THE RESIDENCE.
                                    5. NO VIDEOTAPING OR CAMERAS ARE ALLOWED IN ON AROUND THE RESIDENCE
                                    6. SEX OFFENDERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE ANY CHILDREN, INCLUDING THEIR OWN OR OTHER RELATIVE’S CHILDREN, TRICK OR TREATING.
IDOC and NPCSO will be teamed together to ensure that IDOC supervised sex offenders are compliant with their 12 hour rules as well as adhering to their supervision conditions set by the court or parole commission. Teaming up both agencies makes good sense in terms of community safety by checking on sex offender compliance outside of their routine home visits by probation and parole officers. In addition, the checks also become a protective factor for children on the one night a year where there is unlimited access by sex offenders to a high number of children in our neighborhoods going door to door.
