City of Lewiston

LEWISTON -- The City of Lewiston election was called at 11:25 p.m. with 54.06% (4,295 community members) voting NO on Proposition One for an elected mayor and Dan Johnson getting 52.10% of the vote for mayor, Wilson Boots getting 32.12% and Bob Blakey getting 15.79%. 

The City Council race was a little tighter. Hannah Liedkie was the first elected with the highest number of votes getting 4,202 votes. (10.89%) Kassie Foresman was next with 3,750 votes, (9.71%) and Kathy Schroeder was third with 3,732 votes. (9.67%) These individuals having the highest present of the vote will be serving a 4-year term. 

Jim Kleeburg will be the first elected to serve a 2-year term with 3,561 votes, (9.23%) and Rick Tousley following close behind with 3,556 votes. (9.21%) Luke Blount takes the last City Council positition with 3,233 votes. (8.38%) 

The rest of the presentages are as follows; 

Brandon Huffaker - 3,177 votes (8.23%) 

Keven Kelly - 3,042 votes (7.88%) 

Heather Rodgers - 2,708 votes (7.02%) 

Gabe Iacoboni - 2,636 votes (6.83%) 

Susan Whitlow - 2,619 votes (6.78%) 

Ada Eldridge - 2,385 votes (6.18%) 

 

The Lewiston School Board race resulted in Staci Baldwin winning with 5,433 votes (36.67%) and John Lang getting the last postion with 3,570 votes (24.10%). 

The rest of the presentages are as follows; 

Charles Stroschein - 2,241 votes (15.17%) 

Cherie Wiik - 1,691 votes (11.41%) 

Marcie Carter - 1,052 votes (7.10%) 

Christina Brando-Subis - 822 votes (5.55%)
