Breaking News: Rescue Personnel on Scene of Fatal Crash on Old Spiral Highway

LEWISTON, ID - UPDATE: A 32-year-old Clarkston woman died in a one-vehicle crash on the Old Spiral Highway at about 10:56 a.m. this morning.  The Idaho State Police says La Dawna Knight was driving northbound when her 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee left the highway on the right shoulder and went through the cable barrier.

"The vehicle flew 40 yards before leaving the roadway and impacting the hill, where it began to roll. Knight came to rest down the embankment. Knight was partially ejected and was deceased at the scene, she was wearing a seatbelt," ISP says.

The investigation is continuing. Next of kin have been notified.

Rescue personnel are on the scene of a one-vehicle rollover crash on the Old Spiral Highway.  The crash has been confirmed as a fatality.  The incident was reported at about 10:56 a.m.  According to reports, an SUV rolled over the embankment approximately four miles up the highway.
