37th Annual DECA Takeover May 26th

CLARKSTON, WA - The 37th DECA takeover will take place on Friday, May 26th, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Clarkston High School DECA students will be training for eight days to learn the aspects of the position that they have been assigned.

From the Clarkston School District:
There are eight businesses involved in the DECA Takeover this year with 120 students divided amongst those businesses: Clarkston DECA "takes over" area businesses including: Albertsons, Starbucks, McDonalds, Taco Time, Arby's, Gateway Golf, and Kenzie's Koffee's three locations. In addition to area businesses, DECA students are also completing job shadow experiences in the health, education, manufacturing, and financial industries.

DECA is an association of marketing students, an international organization that allows students to learn about all the different aspects of marketing and business. The DECA Takeover day is a great experience for employees and students alike. Albertson's will run in-store special sales in each of its departments.
