Teen Receives Minor Injuries in Motorcycle Crash East of Lewiston

MYRTLE, ID - A 17-year-old male suffered minor injuries late this morning when he crashed his motorcycle on US 12.  According to the Idaho State Police, the unidentified male was traveling eastbound near milepost 19 just west of the Reubens-Gifford turnoff when he encountered stopped traffic due to the repainting of highway lines.  The boy lost control of his 2001 Harley Davidson Cruiser at 11:57 a.m.

The teen, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

The eastbound lane of travel was blocked for approximately 40 minutes.
