9-11 Procession Tribute

LEWISTON, ID - Regional fire departments will pay tribute to the emergency responders and civilians who died in the attacks of September 11, 2001 with a procession of emergency vehicles today. The procession will begin in Asotin at 5:30 p.m. and proceed past fire stations in Asotin, the Clarkston Heights, Clarkston, and Lewiston. Flags will be lowered to half-staff as the procession motors past each station.

From the City of Lewiston:
Citizens are encouraged to show their support along the normal procession route (map attached). If you have to drive to a spot to see the procession, please be mindful to park your vehicle safely and legally, and choose a safe place to observe when the procession passes.

The fire service has embraced the phrase, “We Will Never Forget,” and it remains central in our tribute to those Firefighters who answered their final alarm.

THERE WILL BE NO CEREMONY AT PIONEER PARK THIS YEAR.
