Clarkston DECA "It Can Wait" Campaign

CLARKSTON, WA - Clarkston DECA students Tyler Peters, Tiana Ah Hi, and Jasmine Carringer along with the rest of the DECA members are committed to keeping the members of our community safe on the road with their "It Can Wait" campaign. The distracted driving campaign will continue throughout the rest of the week.

From the Clarkston School District:
The "It Can Wait" campaign is centered on community involvement and creating awareness. A wrecked car will be on display in the courtyard during the week as a reminder for CHS students on the dangers of driving distracted. Informational booths will be hosted during lunch where students will have the opportunity to sign pledges and receive thumb rings and giveaways. Friday, October 13th a distracted driving boxcar demonstration will be held on the football field during halftime of the Bantam's Varsity Football Game. The "It Can Wait" campaign's goal is to inform members of our community about the risks of distracted driving and how fatal that decision can be.
