33rd Annual Festival of Trees Nov. 22nd - 25th

LEWISTON, ID - The 33rd Annual Festival of Trees, which is a four-day event benefiting the Tri-State Hospital Foundation, takes place Wednesday, November 22nd, through Saturday, November 25th, at the Nez Perce County Fair Pavilion.

From the T-SHF:
The Festival of Trees started in 1985 as Evergreenfest, an outdoor tree auction held in the parking lot of Tri-State Memorial Hospital & Medical Campus, and has grown to become one of the Valley’s biggest holiday events.

This Valley tradition kicks off on Wednesday, November 22 from 5-8 PM with Family Night. Be the first to see the decorated trees and shop at the Holiday Gift Shop while children create holiday crafts. Pizza, refreshments and other treats will be available to purchase from Domino’s Pizza and Hot Shot Espresso. Admission is by donation. This event is sponsored by Washington Trust Bank.

Community Day will be Thursday, November 23. Stop by between 1-4 PM to view the decorated trees that will be auctioned off at the Festival of Trees Gala event held Saturday night. Enjoy coffee, apple cider and holiday cookies while taking in the festive décor. Community Day is a special day to honor senior citizens and the community. This event is sponsored by Stonebraker McQuary Insurance. Wasem’s Home Medical is providing wheelchairs for those needing assistance.

The Joanne Shears Holiday Tea and Vintage Style Show will be Friday, November 24 from 10 AM-12 PM with doors opening at 9:30 AM. This year’s theme is Fashions for All Seasons. Attendees will sip tea and watch models showcase vintage clothing from all eras. Joanne Shears worked for Tri-State Memorial Hospital & Medical Campus as a Registered Nurse for over 33 years, and she loved vintage clothes. It was her vision to share that passion with others through this tea and style show. Tickets are $20 per person, with advanced purchase necessary. This event is sponsored by Edward Jones Financial Advisors: Scott Arnone, Trevor Arnone, Brian Bailey, Stephanie Johnson, Christian Leer and Patrick Cruser. Event catering is sponsored by JillyBean Catering Queen.

The culmination of the Festival of Trees event is Saturday, November 25 with the Gala. At 6 PM, festivities begin with a silent auction, tray-passed hors d’oeuvres and display of all 14 decorated trees. Happy Day Catering will be serving a gourmet dinner and dessert with the tree auction immediately following. After the live auction, the local group, 7 Devils, will entertain the crowd for the remainder of the evening. Tickets are $100 per person. Gala Sponsors include Bouten Construction Company, S.P.O.R.T. Physical Therapy Clinic, A.N.S.-Alternative Nursing Services, Martin Insurance, CCI-Speer, Avalon Care Center-Pullman, Columbia Bank, NAC Architecture, Marathon Development and Premera Blue Cross.
