Hit & Run Collision Injures Lewiston Man; Law Enforcement Searching for Black SUV

CLARKSTON, WA - A 56-year-old Lewiston man was injured after he was hit by a black SUV at the intersection of 5th Street and Poplar Street in Clarkston at 8:52 a.m. this morning.  The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.

The Washington State Patrol says Henry Franco was in the crosswalk when he was hit.  He was transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.  A nursing supervisor says Franco was treated and released.
