Benefit Held Tomorrow Afternoon in Lewiston for Woman Battling Cancer

LEWISTON, ID - There will be a benefit spaghetti dinner and raffle tomorrow at the Lewiston Community Center to raise funds for a 23-year-old woman who is battling cancer.  BritniePaige Baune was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma Unfavorable Bulky last May.

"Her tumor is wrapped around her heart and has been described as "a soccer ball in her chest."  As you can imagine, the medical bills for this family are astronomical.  Britnie has two younger siblings who are both students at Jenifer Junior High.  In addition to fighting cancer, Britnie’s aunt passed away unexpectedly a few months ago from a heart attack at the age of 36, leaving behind two young daughters.  Those little girls are now being raised by the Baune family.  This family has had to bare much hardship and heartache this past year and unfortunately at this time, there is no end in sight with cancer treatments for Britnie," organizers say.

In an effort to alleviate some of the financial burden that life has given this family, they are holding the spaghetti feed and raffle from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. tomorrow at the Lewiston Community Center.
