Lewis-Clark State College and the Lewiston School District have teamed up to create the SPARC (Students & Professionals Accessing Resources in the Community) program.
A press release says describes the SPARC program as one that teaches key skills to students that lead to independence, employment, and success. It uses vocation training, career development, improving social skills, self-determination, recreation, and leisure.
There’s an open house ceremony coming up for the apartment. You can get a look at the place starting at 9:00 am on October 15th. The apartment is located at 640 Southway Avenue, Unit 1. It’s free and open to the public.
