Earthquake Near Grangeville
4.1 Magnitude | 13.3 km Deep
GRANGEVILLE, ID – An earthquake about 10 miles northeast of Grangeville rattled Idaho County this afternoon. The U.S. Geological Survey says it happened at 2:39 pm. The magnitude 4.1 quake was 13.3 kilometers down in the Earth. The U.S.G.S. says it radiated through Kamiah, into Orofino, and nearly the Lewiston Orchards.
Last week there was an earthquake in southeast Idaho, centered near Soda Springs that was felt in Pocatello and Twin Falls.
