Idaho Christmas Tree Lighting

Last Night

BOISE, ID – Governor “Butch” Otter lit the Christmas Tree in front of the state Capitol yesterday.  Thousands of people turned out to watch the twinkle lights come on.  The Governor and Mrs. Otter celebrated afterward by handing out books, hot apple cider, and treats to kids who attended.  The lighting of the tree and handing out of books is an annual event for Governor Otter.  This will be his last before Brad Little takes the state’s head seat.
