$92,500 Grant Helps Nez Perce Tribal Youth

Chief Joseph Foundation Indoor Horse Arena

LAPWAI, ID – The Chief Joseph Foundation just got a boost from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust.  The $92,500 grant is designed to help Nez Perce Youth connect to their heritage and traditions.

The money was given to the Foundation to help build the indoor horse arena they have planned.

Bonnie Ewing, co-founder of the Chief Joseph Foundation, calls the donation and progress they’re making a dream come true. “Because of the Murdock Trust, we are able to expand our reach in the community…I have seen our programs change the lives of children for over 30 years and with this covered arena, we are now able to have camps, equestrian tournaments, and more activities year-round.”
