Asotin Anatone School District Asks For Feedback On $1M Budget Cut

State Changes To Local Levy

ASOTIN, WA – Because of state changes to levies, the Asotin Anatone School District is going to have more than a million dollars less in funding next year.  They’d like to hear from parents who plan to send their kids to preschool next year. The survey suggests preschool may not happen next year because of the cuts.

The survey is attached below.  It simply asks for your name, your child’s name, and if you live inside the school district.  Washington State allows students who live outside the district to attend school if there’s enough room.

You can return it to the school in-person, or you can mail it back to PO Box 489 Asotin, WA 99402.

Note: We have requested an interview with the Superintendent and will be investigating this issue more in-depth next week.
