Gun Club Road Accident Details

Yesterday

LEWISTON, ID – Details have come out on the accident on Gun Club Road yesterday.  A report from the Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office says two vehicles were involved in an accident at about 9:10 am.

A Jeep Cherokee was headed south on Gun Club Road when the driver attempted a U-turn.  Behind the Jeep was a Dodge Ram pickup pulling a flat bed trailer with a vehicle on it.  The report goes on to say the driver and passenger of the Dodge claim the Jeep, with U.S. Mail markings on it, pulled to the right side of the road.  It goes on to say they were going to pass when the Jeep turned left, right in front of them.  The driver of the Dodge said he tried to avoid hitting the Jeep, but couldn’t.  The Dodge hit the back driver’s side spinning the Jeep causing it to come to rest in the driveway of 1919 Gun Club Road.

The driver of the Jeep was seen by medics and released.  She was cited for improper left turn.  The driver of the Dodge was cited for failure to show current proof of insurance.
