100 MPH Chase Goes Up Bryden Canyon

Felony Eluding, DUI Charges

LEWISTON, ID – A Lewiston man was arrested for felony eluding and DUI Saturday night, driving nearly 100 mph.  A Washington State Patrol Trooper and an Asotin County Sheriff’s Deputy pursued 26-year-old Justin M. Carlson from Asotin County up Bryden Canyon Road around 9:00 pm. 

A press release from the Lewiston Police Department says Carlson was driving nearly 100 mph in Washington and roughly 80 mph up Bryden Canyon. 

Officers stopped him in the 500 block of Warner Avenue.  An LPD Officer took him into custody there.  There were no injuries or property damage reported in the pursuit.

Carlson faces charges in both Nez Perce County and Asotin County for Felony Eluding and Driving Under the Influence.
