Spiral Highway Accident Injures Two
ISP: No Seatbelts
NEZ PERCE COUNTY, ID – Two people went to the hospital after an accident on the Spiral Highway. According to an Idaho State Police report, 40-year-old Lukus Thornton was headed south on the highway when he was going too fast to make one of the corners. He crossed over the northbound lane and went off the road. He and his 38-year-old passenger were taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Neither of them was wearing a seat belt.
Thornton was cited for reckless driving.
