Help Center Opening in Kooskia For Flood Victims

Tuesday | 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm | Kooskia City Hall

KOOSKIA, ID – If your home or property was damaged by the recent flooding, a center to help you get back on your feet is opening tomorrow.  Idaho County is helping set up the MARC, or Multi Agency Resource Center, bringing together several groups in a single place for assistance.

Groups who will be there include American Red Cross, Salvation Army, North central Public Health District, Natural Resources Conservation Service & Farm Agency, Idaho Department of Water Resources, and the Department of Environmental Quality.

Home, farm, and business owners will be able to ask questions on a variety of issues, clean up, home restoration, and other immediate needs.

If you go, you’re encouraged to bring identification and pictures of damage.

The MARC is open from 3:30 pm until 8:00 pm tomorrow, Tuesday, at Kooskia City Hall on Main Street.
