CLARKSTON, WA – The Clarkston Fire Department is looking for volunteers and reserves to join the team. Citizens of Clarkston called for help more than 2,300 times last year. That included medical emergencies, fires, vehicle crashes, water rescues, and more. If you’re the sort of person willing and able to help others in their time of need, you can pick up more info at the fire station.
Volunteers are paid $11 per hour for helping and during training. Reserves earn $14.60 per hour. There are other benefits as well, including a state retirement program.
Applications are due by May 3rd with an interview and physical agility test the next day. You can pick up an application at the fire station on 5th Street or the City of Clarkston’s web site.
