Suspect Arrested For Arson, Domestic Violence, & Animal Cruelty

PULLMAN, WA – Pullman Police detectives arrested an alleged arsonist yesterday. The juvenile is suspected of setting fire to a residence last week.
May 21st, officers and firefighters rushed to the home at 1155 SE Professional Mall Boulevard. The home was a total loss. Two pets, a dog and a cat, were found deceased inside.
Investigators ruled out any possible accidental or natural cause for the fire, developing probably cause for arson. Witness interviews led detectives to the 17 year old. He’s charged with 1st Degree Arson, Domestic Violence, and two counts of 1st Degree Animal Cruelty. The domestic violence charges stem from a relationship the suspect had with a resident of the trailer.
