Chance To Tour College Campuses & More

OROFINO, ID – If your middle and high school students are thinking about college, Orofino High School is hosting an event that will get them excited and answer some questions.  Kids going into 8th, 9th, or 10th grade are welcome to spend a few days in June to start considering their options.   The workshops are on June 18th, 19th, 20th, and then the next week on the 25th, 26th, and 27th.

The group will travel to Washington State University, the University of Idaho, Walla Walla Community College, and Lewis-Clark State College to see what it’s like on campus and what it takes to get a degree.

They will also learn about the opportunity to take college-level classes while they’re still in high school.

You can sign up by calling Orofino High School.  Their number is 208-476-5557.  Ask for Madison Melton in the library.  You can also get more info by contacting these school district employees:

They’re also going to have a parent meeting to sign all the paperwork and get ready for the events.

It’s completely free and includes free food for the kids.
