Free Lunch For Kids This Summer

Use USDA Site To Locate The Closest

CLARKSTON, WA – If your kids need a good lunch this summer, they can get a free one at a variety of locations.  The Washington Superintendent of Public Instruction is sending out a reminder that the Summer Food Service Program will be available for kids once school is out.  It’s designed to help kids in lower-income areas continue to get nutritious meals that they would normally get at school.

The program is for kids 18 and younger.  It’s paid for by federal tax money.

Clarkston has four locations, but the site will tell you anywhere in the country.

There are several locations in Lewiston, Kooskia, Grangeville, and more.

To locate the nearest one, you can text the word “food” to 877-877 or type in your address on this page: https://www.fns.usda.gov/summerfoodrocks.
