40 MPH Wind Gusts Tomorrow

POMEROY, WA – Winds and dry weather increases the chance of wildfire damage tomorrow.  The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch for much of Central Washington, Garfield County, and Whitman County.

The warning is for winds gusting to 40 miles an hour and low humidity.  Together they create a chance for grass and brush fires to spread quickly.

Central Washington has the warning for today as well with gusts of 50 miles per hour around Ellensburg.
