White Bird Grade Construction Starts Next Week

One Lane Open In Each Direction

GRANGEVILLE, ID – Traffic will be moving slowly on Highway 95 up and down White Bird Grade starting next week.  The Idaho Transportation Department says work could start on Monday to pave more than seven miles of the roadway between Grangeville and White Bird.

One lane will be open in each direction during the work which may include weekends.

Three runaway truck ramps will be improved in the process.  During that time the ramps will be closed. At no point will all three ramps be closed, just one at a time for necessary work.

The construction is expected to be complete in August.
