Two Accidents Less Than Two Miles Apart

Monday Afternoon

ASOTIN COUNTY, WA - Accidents shut down traffic on the highway between Clarkston and Asotin less than an three hours apart,  The first was just after 1:00 pm at Swallows Nest Park.  One woman was transported to the hospital in that collision.  A report says the white van was pulling out of the parking lot into oncoming traffic and was hit.  The other driver left with family members.

The second accident was just before 3:30 pm a couple miles closer to Asotin, just north of the 13th Street intersection.  The vehicle veered off the road for unknown reasons and rolled with two people inside.  Neither of them was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
