Two Men Arrested In Lacrosse Area Burglaries
Property Found From Lacrosse Pool Theft
LACROSSE, WA – Two men were arrested for burglaries in Whitman County Tuesday. A press release from the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office says a citizen filed a report July 10th of a burglary near Lacrosse. Several tools and other equipment were allegedly taken. Neighbors helped identify the men through security photos that show them entering the shop and taking the property.
Deputies arrested 19-year-old Lacrosse, WA resident Daniel Ornelas and 32-year-old Dustin Ashlock of Yakima, WA. During the investigation, deputies found items that had been stolen from the Lacrosse pool during a recent burglary.
Ornelas and Ashlock were both booked into jail Tuesday afternoon on charges of Burglary and Possession of Stolen Property. Ornelas was released on his own recognizance, but Ashlock is held on $100,000 bond because of his “extensive” criminal history
