Drug Task Force Busts Alleged Trafficker

LATAH COUNTY, ID – A 39-year-old woman is behind bars for trafficking methamphetamine. A release from the Quad Cities Drug Task Force says Monday morning they and deputies from both Latah and Benewah Counties stopped the homeless woman on Highway 95 near the Latah/Benewah County line.
It happened as part of a narcotics investigation of meth being delivered to Latah County and the Lewiston area.
A search warrant on the Dodge Charger she was driving resulted in 35.6 grams of meth, 35 grams of marijuana, a capsule of an unknown brown substance, and a glass pipe with burnt residue. They also seized a scale and plastic bags.
They booked Crystal L. Schrecengost on a pending charge of Trafficking Methamphetamine, and also Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Her passenger, John C. Bordley was booked into jail an unrelated arrest warrant.
