Twins Fall to Bandits in State Championship

LEWISTON, ID - The Twins couldn't find an answer to the pitching of the Idaho Falls Bandits, and fell to the team from down south 5-0 in the Idaho Legion AA State Championship game.

The Bandits took a 2-0 lead early in the third inning - and wouldn't score again until the top of the fifth where they drove home three runners, two of which came in off of a two run triple.

Both the Twins and the Bandits qualified for regionals, the Twins will play host at Harris Field starting Wednesday, August 7.
