Lewiston City Library Holding Classes To Help Job Hunting

The Lewiston City Library will be offering three classes aimed at increasing participants’ digital skills and job hunting abilities during the month of November. The American Library Association announced that the Lewiston City Library was invited to participate in the Libraries Lead Program on October 2 which is sponsored by Grow with Google, the technology company’s economic opportunity initiative. The Libraries Lead with Digital Skills program encourages local libraries to combine their own program offerings with Grow with Google training materials in order to offer community workshops aimed at empowering small businesses to grow online or to assist job seekers to find work. The classes, held Tuesday evenings on November 5, 12 and 19, will focus on creating a resume, writing a cover letter and searching for jobs online.
