WSU Fraternity Placed on Temporally Loss-Of-Recognition
The fraternity where the death of a 19-year-old Washington State University student took place has been placed on an interim loss-of-recognition-status, according to a statement from WSU President Kirk Schulz.
"Effective immediately, we also have placed an interim loss-of-recognition-status on Alpha Tau Omega-Gamma Chi chapter, the fraternity of which Sam was a member. Student Affairs staff have opened an investigation and are working with the fraternity’s national headquarters. Any disciplinary action will be determined by WSU’s community standards process," said a statement from Schulz on Monday.
