2019 Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony

LEWISTON, ID - The Lewis Clark Valley Veterans Council in conjunction with The Fleet Reserve Association Branch 63, VFW Post 10043, SGT Major Linehan Detachment Marine Corps League and all the LC Valley veteran Groups will conduct a Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony on Saturday, December 7 at the Lewiston Veterans of Foreign Wars at 1104 Warner Ave at 11 a.m. 

Guest Speakers this year is A.L. "Butch" Alford of the Lewiston Tribune and noted local Historian. This year's Master of Ceremony will be CDR Chuck Whitman, USN Ret. 
Upon completion of the ceremony which will be at 11:45, the Ceremonial Wreath will be escorted by the Combat Veterans Association and others to the Southway Boat Launch where it will be placed aboard the Sheriff's Boat for a ceremonial laying in the river near the Blue Bridge and Confluence around 12:20 p.m. In addition to the Wreath Laying Mr. Gary Peters - a local historic aircraft enthusiast and owner has arranged a fly over of the Sheriff's Boats at the Confluence with WWII Aircraft during the Wreath Laying Ceremony.
