Non-Injury Crash Near the Top of Zaza Grade on Thursday

On 12-05-2019 at approximately 7 p.m., Nez Perce County Sheriff Deputies responded to a non-injury collision near the top of Zaza (PFI) Grade.  A semi, bound for Laredo, Texas, was nearing the top of the grade when the tires of the trailer began to slide towards the edge of the roadway.  The semi stopped, leaving two trailer tires hanging over the embankment and two tires still on the roadway.  Zaza (PFI) grade will be closed until the semi is removed.  This is anticipated to be completed on 12-06-2019.
