Nez Perce County K-9 Ikar Completed All Requirements, is Now a Certified Drug Detection Dog

The Nez Perce County Sheriff's Office would like to recognize Deputy JR Gregory and his K-9 Ikar for all of their hard work over the last few months.  K-9 Ikar completed all of the requirements to be a certified drug detection dog.  The next step is to complete the requirements to have K-9 Ikar certified as a patrol dog.  K-9 Ikar would then be certified to help apprehend violent criminals.  K-9 Ikar's first drug find since becoming certified occurred on 01-09-2020 at the Nez Perce County Jail where he located concealed drugs   in inmate housing.  The inmate has been charged accordingly.
