Lewiston, Lapwai, Asotin, and Clarkston School Districts are the schools participating in the Teacher of the Month program.  If you would like to nominate a teacher from one of these school districts, a nomination form can be filled out on DailyFly.com. One teacher will be chosen each month based on nomination letters received through Dailyfly.com

Here is the letter of nomination that was received for Ms. Everett:

Miss Everett thinks outside of the box to engage and connect with students. She created constellations on her ceiling to help students with fine motor skills and to broaden their knowledge in science. She helped set up a letter writing program that pairs each first grade student with a staff member. Multiple past students come to her room every morning and at lunch time to connect with her, help and eat their meals. She freely gives up planning periods to help these students feel connected, stay regulated and support other teachers. Her love of books and reading spills into her classroom during read-alouds, classroom decorations and book talks. Miss Everett is an asset to her school and our community.
