Doug Jones Retires from Lewiston Fire Department

Firefighter Doug Jones will be retiring from the Lewiston Fire Department on Thursday, July 16, 2020. Doug began his career in the department as a Reserve Firefighter in February of 1992. In April of 1997 he was hired as a full-time firefighter.

As senior firefighter in the department, Doug frequently worked at the airport station as a move-up engineer. For this reason, he was certified as an Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) responder 18 out of the 28 yrs he has been with the department.

Doug has always been known as a hard worker as well as an excellent cook. He will be greatly missed and his fire family wishes him the very best with his retirement.
