Update on Motorcycle vs, Vehicle Collision Friday Afternoon

On 7/31/20, at about 1:30 PM, Lewiston Police and Fire were dispatched to the 400 block of Thain Rd, in front of the Maverick, for a motorcycle vs vehicle collision. Initial investigation revealed a 2017 Dodge pickup, driven by Kenneth Morris, 67 of Kennewick, had been north bound on Thain. Morris attempted to turn left into the Maverick when he was struck by a 2016 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Zachary Dole, 31 of Clarkston. Dole had been south bound on Thain. Both Morris and Dole were transported to St Joseph Regional Medical Center by ambulance. Lewiston Police's Major Collision Investigation Team was called in to investigate. Thain Rd was closed for about three hours during the investigation. The investigation is on going. Any witnesses are asked to contact Sgt Craig Roberts at 746-0171.
