Babb Road Fire Recovery Group Along with Partners to Open a Multi Agency Resource Center in Malden

The Babb Road Fire Recovery Group in conjunction with the Washington Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (WAVOAD) and its community partners will open a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) in Malden, Washington, on Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26, 2020 at the temporary Malden City Hall.

The Malden MARC will serve Whitman County primarily, but anyone affected by the 2020 wildfires can come to the MARC for services and resources.  

The MARC will offer impacted residents access to a variety of recovery resources, including financial assistance for those who qualify, from multiple relief agencies. 
 
The MARC brings recovery resources and offers residents convenient access to agencies in one central location. The American Red Cross, Catholic Charities, United Way of Whitman Co., United Methodist Committee of Relief, are just a few of the organizations that will be available at the MARC.

When: Friday, September 25, 2020, 9am to 5pm & Saturday, September 26, 9am to 3pm

Where: Town of Malden Temporary City Hall
