TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

Precipitation amounts through Wednesday look to range from a quarter of an inch in the Columbia Basin to three quarters of an inch across the Palouse with higher amounts expected in the mountains.

Windy conditions are possible on Wednesday. Wind gusts in excess of 45 MPH is possible across the Upper Columbia Basin, Spokane area, Palouse, and near the Blue Mountains.

 

Lewiston Area:       

Today: 70% chance of rain between a tenth and quarter inch, cloudy, winds up to 23mph. High 47/ low 45.

Wednesday: 50% chance of rain of less than a tenth of an inch, partly sunny day, gusts up to 44mph, partly cloudy night. 53/36.

Thursday: Mostly sunny day, mostly cloudy night. 47/37.

Friday: Mostly cloudy. 48/36.

Palouse Area:

Today: 90% chance of rain between a half and three quarters inch, gusts up to 28mph. 42/39.

Wednesday: 70% chance of rain between a tenth and quarter inch, snow to 3500ft, partly sunny day, gusts up to 46mph, partly cloudy day. 47/29.

Thursday: Mostly sunny day, mostly cloudy night. 41/32.

Friday: 20% chance of rain, snow to 5000ft, mostly cloudy. 41/31.

Prairie Area:

Today: 80% chance of rain and snow of less than a half inch, breezy, gusts up to 40mph, mostly cloudy. 40/37.

Wednesday: 60% chance of rain of less than a tenth inch, snow to 3800ft, partly sunny day, gusts up to 43mph, partly cloudy night. 45/28.
