Indiana Jones Video Game in Development
Any Indiana Jones fans out there? Well, hold onto your hats. MachineGames and Bethesda are partnering with Lucasfilm Games to produce a standalone Indiana Jones video game. Bethesda Game Studios director Todd Howard will oversee the project. The teaser is below:
So what can we take away from the official teaser trailer? Well, the game will seemingly revolve at least in part around the Vatican City, with a plane ticket to Rome dated for October 1937. You can also see a map including the Sistine Chapel spread out on the desk.
No release date, genre, or platforms have been given at this time, but one thing is clear; MachineGames will have plenty of ideas as to how Indie can take out Nazis, as they are the creators to the Wolfenstine series. For those unfamiliar with the series, it's a game set in a story where Germany won WWII, and is all about dispatching Hitler's army, but I digress. The nostalgia has me excited about this game.
