Men’s Basketball Moves to No. 4 in National Poll

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The Lewis-Clark State College Men’s Basketball team marked its 18th consecutive week in the top 10 of the NAIA Men’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, on Wednesday with a jump to No. 4. The Warriors (10-1) moved up three spots after defeating then-No. 5 Arizona Christian and sweeping NCAA DIII No. 19 Whitworth.

LC State is 8-1 since the last poll, with the only loss coming against then-No. 5 ACU. The Warriors bounced back the next day to take down the Firestorm 88-79 on the road. LC is 4-0 at home, 5-1 on the road and 1-0 on neutral court.

The Warriors will face a top-25 opponent on Saturday when they host No. 23 College of Idaho in a non-conference game. Tip off between the conference rivals is set for 5 p.m. and the contest will be streamed on the Warrior Sports Network.

LC State Men’s Basketball has been in the top 25 for 27 straight polls.
