Emergency Crews Respond to Clarkston Crash

Asotin County Fire District #1 and Lewiston Medics were dispatched to a one vehicle crash on Scenic Way in Clarkston at about 4:30 pm Monday afternoon.

The driver could not climb out of the vehicle, which was on its side, so rescue crews removed part of the windshield and the driver got out. The driver was the lone occupant in the Ford pickup. He was checked by medic crews and was not injured in the crash.

The road was temporarily closed while crews worked to secure the scene. There were no reported injuries and no other vehicles involved.

The driver of the pickup was arrested by Asotin County Sheriff's Deputies for DUI.
