Police Arrest Lewiston Resident for Burglary and Felon in Possession of a Firearm
On January 24th, 2021 in the late evening and early morning hours of January 25th, 2021, the Lewiston Police Department received information of possible narcotics activity at the Travel Inn Lodge in the 1000 Block of Main Street. This information led to the arrest of 40 year old, Spokane resident Ricky D. Walker.
Walker had a significant amount of Methamphetamine and Heroin in his possession when he was arrested. Lewiston Police detectives looked further into the incident and interviewed several involved parties. These interviews led to information about several stolen guns in a separate room at the Travel Inn Lodge.
The Lewiston Police department, assisted by the Idaho State Police executed a search warrant at a room at the Travel Inn Lodge on 1/25/21. The room had been rented by 36 year old Heather A. Moore and 35 year old Raymond R. Fisher, both Lewiston residents. Detectives located 12 stolen firearms, ammo and interchangeable firearm parts along with other items that were associated with a burglary in the Lewiston Orchards.
Fisher was arrested and booked into the Nez Perce County jail for Burglary and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. The investigation is on-going and there is additional charges for pending for Fisher and Moore.
