Idaho State Fair has Chris Janson Headlining in 2021
Janson was supposed to headline the 2020 fair before COVID-19 cancelled the event.
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — Country music star Chris Janson, will be headlining the North Idaho State Fair this year, according to a press release from the event.
He was also set to headline the fair back in 2020, but due to COVID-19 protocols, it was cancelled. The fair is set to return August 20th through the 29th in 2021. The fair was expanded from five to ten days in order to expand the programming line up.
Janson will be bringing his "Real Friends" tour to Findlay Arena on August 24th.
"We know how excited everyone was in 2020 to see Chris Janson at the Fair. It seemed right to make sure we could have him in 2021. Our team has worked hard for the last eight months to plan concert experience like never before for our community” Kootenai County Fairgrounds manager Alexcia Jordan said. “We have a plan in place to safely come together again, enjoy live music and have a great time”.
Concert tickets will be available to the fair's email club this Wednesday, February 10th. To sign up, go to the fair's website or text FAIRFUN to 22828. The sale will be open to the public on Friday, Feb. 12 at 9 a.m.
The fair won't just be hosting a concert however. There will also be livestock shows, a carnival, a rodeo, bull riding performances and arena demonstrations. You can find the full lineup of events by checking out the fair's website at the link below:
