TODAY THROUGH SUNDAY

Another round of mountain snow and valley rain showers late in the week with breezy winds. Snowmelt and rain brining possible flood impacts to Southeast WA and Lower Idaho Panhandle.

HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK

MILD TEMPERATURES WILL LEAD TO SNOWMELT AND RISES ON CREEKS

AND STREAMS...

Low level locations that have snowpack may experience ponding of water in fields to city streets, especially in low lying areas or poor drainage areas. The increased snowmelt, runoff and low elevation rain will lead to rises on many rivers and creeks across the Palouse, LC Valley and parts of the southern Idaho Panhandle, continuing into Wednesday.  While flooding is not expected, rises are possible in small drainages. In addition, any river ice may break free with the increased flows and could lead to possible buildups further downstream.

Be aware of the changing conditions and continue to monitor weather and stream flow forecasts.
