Aggressive and Inattentive Patrol Emphasis US12

ISP Press Release: District 2 Patrol 2700 North and South Highway Lewiston.

LEWISTON, ID - Idaho State Police plan to increase patrols to deter aggressive and inattentive driving on US Highway 12 between Lewiston and Orofino this afternoon (Friday, March 5, 2021).

Troopers will be out looking for drivers who are speeding, weaving in and out of their lane, passing unsafely, tailgating, improper use of mobile devices, and other dangerous behavior. State police encourage anyone who witnesses such behavior to find a safe place and call 911.

They should be prepared to give dispatchers their location, a description of the vehicle and, if possible, its license plate number.
