Shooting Investigation Underway In Kamiah Idaho

KAMIAH - A shooting that occurred Monday evening at approximately 5:00 p.m. at the Sundown Motel in Kamiah, Idaho is currently being investigated by the Lewis Country Sheriff's Office.
Emergency responders were called to the scene after receiving a call regarding shots fired. The incident is reported to have left 3 victims dead. Names of these individuals have not been made available, as well as any known suspect. However, the Kamiah Fire-Rescue Chief Bill Arsenault reassured the public Monday night there is no need for panic.
"We do not have any need for a lockdown in the Kamiah area," said Chief Arsenault.
A release from the Lewis County Sheriffs Office stated that at this time, the incident is being investigated as a possible murder-suicide. It appears all individuals involved were acquainted with each other. There is multiple agencies investigating this incident and when more information is made available it will be updated here.
