Parking Restrictions in Lewiston.

Lewiston Police Department

LEWISTON -- The Lewiston Police Department would like to remind citizens of parking restrictions regarding certain kinds of vehicles on public roadways. Recreational vehicles and travel trailers are only allowed to be parked within the public right-of-way for up to three days.

Utility trailers and semi-trucks are allowed to be parked within the public right-of-way only if they are involved in active construction, being used for the loading or unloading of goods, or being used for street maintenance. Otherwise, utility trailers, boats, and semi-trucks are not allowed to be parked within the public right-of-way at any time.

Thank you for helping us keep our roads safer for pedestrians and helping our drivers see clearly down the road.
