Gritman Medical Center Weekly Update

Gritman Medical Center

MOSCOW – Our hospital’s COVID-19 patient care unit has once again filled to capacity. In the past week, we have seen our highest number of COVID-19-positive patients being admitted for inpatient treatment. Both the 7-day and 14-day test positivity rates have increased as well.

We are urgently asking everyone who can be vaccinated to do so as soon as possible. Resources on where to get vaccinated are available at vaccines.gov. Please continue to wear a mask and practice social distancing to help stop the spread of the disease. There is a way out of the pandemic if we all work together to protect the health and safety of ourselves and our neighbors.

Gritman Medical Center continues to operate under contingent standards of care and we will change our status as the situation requires. Our hospital and clinics are open and safe for care–please do not defer the care you need.

Additional information breaking down COVID-19 cases by age and other demographics is updated daily by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and Public Health Idaho–North Central District.
