Amber Alert In Jerome Idaho Ended With Child Safe

JEROME -- Monday. October 11 an Amber Alert was issued to Idaho residences regarding the abduction of a child names Kingston James Solis that police believed to be in imminent danger.
The Jerome Police Department described the child as a 6-year-old white child with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen around the 300 block of East Avenue in Jerome, Idaho, wearing a grey hoodie, blue jeans, and grey shoes. He was carrying a red Avengers backpack and missing his top two teeth.
Police named Lucy Elena Mendoza as the suspect. She was described as a 40-year-old white female with black hair and brown eyes driving a white 2018 Kia Stinger with the specialized license plate 'ROXIEE'
Mendoza was believed to be hanging out at locations with free wifi because she uses apps on her phone to make calls. She does not have a current address and is living out of her car.
About 5 hours later, the Jerome Police Department canceled the Amber Alert after finding Solis and Mendoza safe and thanked the public's assistance with the case.
